Blog Challenge

One of the blogs I stalk has a challenge a few times a week of something you should blog about. I have never bothered to do her challenges but when I read today’s it got me thinking about what I would do. Her challenge was to post a picture of yourself that regardless of how bad you look it still makes you laugh or think of a great moment in life. So I went looking through my pictures wondering what I would post if I were to do this challenge. When I came across this picture it made me laugh and I decided I had to post it in remembrance of some amazing times and some people I miss very much!

This picture was taken at my friend Alicia’s apartment during our very last hangout before she graduated and moved back to the horrible state of Washington (HAHA! That last part was just for you Alicia, I know you are reading this and I know you will love that!) Our little group of friends exchanged Christmas presents and this was my reaction to what they got me. The gift I was opening was the Twilight books. Don’t get confused, this reaction isn’t of joy it’s an, I can’t believe I call these horrible people my friends, why did they do this to me, reaction.

Every time I look at this picture I remember how much fun we all had together. There was never a dull moment with all of our “Horror Movie Adventures”. Everything from a guy asking us to come to his van at 1am so he could give us a map so we could find our way home, to going the wrong way on one way streets, dancing and singing in public, driving around looking for “Lost Beach”, Sunday dinners, countless beach adventures and so many loving but very real arguments over how much Twilight and Lord of the Rings sucks!

I didn’t think I missed Hawaii at all until I stated thinking about everything this picture means to me. I love you girls and I miss you more than words!!

Dear....

Dear Pranksters,
I love our little prank war, I really do! But please remember we are girls. The jokes you play on each other are not nearly as funny when you play them on us. Thanks!
Sincerely,
The girls who are over it

Dear Utah,
Thank you for having the warmest winter you have ever had! I greatly appreciate it!! Please don’t listen to the people who say you should end the season with a bang. I think most people would agree its time for spring.
Sincerely,
California girl who hasn’t minded living here much

Dear San Diegans.
If you could stop bragging about the 80 degree weather one day and then complaining about the freezing 60 degree weather the next day that would be great. You have no idea how great you have it!
Sincerely,
Girl stuck in Utah

Dear Puppy,
I miss you more than anything in the world (don’t tell mom). I wish I had a house where you had space to run around in, until I do please be a good girl for mom.
Sincerely,
Girl who dreams about snuggling with you

Dear Students,
Although I am old enough to get married, I am not going to come to school one day and suddenly be married. Please stop asking!
Sincerely,
The person would like to get back to the fraction lesson

Dear Creeper,
I would think that since I never text message you back, don’t answer or return your phone calls and suddenly turn the other direction when I see you coming that you would realize that I’m not interested in you. I would greatly appreciate it if you would stop telling my friends you are going to give me one last chance, I think my last chance was over about 50 text messages ago. It’s about time to creep on somebody else. Thanks!
Sincerely,
The girl who is freaked out by you

Dear Neighbor Boys,
We love hanging out with you, we honestly do! But if you could not use the spare key to our apartment to clog our toilet that would be amazing!
Sincerely,
The girls who you have ruined all your chances with

Dear Roommates,
Yes, I do like to have everything perfectly clean. And no, I don’t mind clean things myself. But please don’t yell telling me you want to do your own dishes and then leave them in the sink for 4 days!
Sincerely,
Girl who has turned into her mother
PS. I do love you, I honestly do!

Dear Mom,
When I call you in tears because I am having the worst day of my life and to top it off the heel of my new brown boots breaks with the first step out of my car its best not to bust up laughing. Yes I understand that you think it’s funny that I have to go against everything I believe in and wear my old black Uggs with my brown outfit, but your little girl is crying. Please save the laughter for after you hang up the phone.
Sincerely,
Your sometimes dramatic but very sensitive little girl
